Learn More About The Benefits of ClearCorrect
Invisible teeth straightening trays are quickly becoming the preferred method for straightening crooked teeth, rather than traditional metal braces. If you’ve considered invisible braces, you’ve likely heard of Invisalign, but did you know you have another option? ClearCorrect works much like Invisalign, but offers slightly different treatment options and is often more affordable. If you are interested in using teeth straightening trays to correct your smile, find out how ClearCorrect could benefit you.
ClearCorrect can help give you a straighter, more even smile in much the same way Invisalign would. This method relies on the use of clear plastic trays which are molded specifically to the mouth of the wearer. These trays are worn for a majority of the day, dentists recommend 22 hours, in order to gradually correct crooked smiles. ClearCorrect can also help improve underbites, overbites, overcrowding, and spaced teeth. After a certain level of improvement has been reached, the dentist will give you another tray to continue the process until your smile is straight and new.
When you choose to correct your smile with ClearCorrect, you can choose from three different treatment options. First, you can choose Limited 6, which allows the patient 6 sets of aligners. This option usually best for patients with minor dental issues or slightly crooked teeth. For a more serious treatment, patients can also choose Limited 12, which provides 12 sets of aligners. Patients with serious dental issues or severely crooked teeth should choose the final option, Unlimited, which provides as many aligners as the patient needs until their teeth are treated.
The benefits of ClearCorrect include:
- No wires, brackets, or rubber bands
- The straightening aligners are clear
- Easy to clean and remove
- Trays make eating and drinking easier
- Non-invasive teeth straightening method
Key Differences Between ClearCorrect and Invisalign
Although the method for improvement is the same for both ClearCorrect and Invisalign, both use invisible teeth straightening trays, they do have several key differences. ClearCorrect, for one, is made entirely in the United States, whereas Invisalign is a global product. ClearCorrect is also newer to the market, having debuted in 2006. Invisalign, however, was created back in 1997. Lastly, ClearCorrect is often more affordable than Invisalign.
